Winter Months

So it has been a while since the last post!

The last few months since our wonderful Tasmania jaunt have been busy and filled with new experiences and places.

There were trips home to see family and a couple of Sydney treks (on one,  we were presented with the wonderful news that we’ll be grandparents!).

The theme of the cooler winter months was “house and pet sitting”.  We met some lovely people and enjoyed looking after their pets and homes while they were away.  A great arrangement for everyone.  We did this in Northern New South Wales, Mid North Coast and Sydney.  The longest stint was for over 2 months, care taking a farm situated between Kempsey and Port Macquarie.  Just loved it there.  We looked after the cows and property whilst staying in the original homestead cottage which has been set up beautifully.  And there was Clancy.  I am going to miss that pooch!

While staying at the farm, there were relief teaching opportunities as well and we were not far from a great surfing beach at Crescent Head.  The owners are lovely people and we feel really blessed to have had this time at their farm.

We are now getting ready to set off on our next adventure.

Thought I’d post a few photos of what’s been going on.  In no particular order…
